Toccata Boogie is a short piece for piano solo that fuses the classical form of Toccata with the 20th century walking bass of the Boogie. Toccata Boogie was voted First Place in the 2014 Piano World Composer's Lounge Summer Composition Competition. Though technically demanding, Toccata Boogie is meant to be a fun, light-hearted piece not to be taken too seriously.
